Amy Lee Dudik, 52, of Marion, Iowa, passed away of renal failure on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Marion. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion, officiated by Pastor Rich Sommer. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Amy was born July 15, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard and Victoria Ann (Ocheltree) Burrows. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1986. Amy was united in marriage to Jonathan Dudik on April 16, 1994. She was very creative and enjoyed crafts. Amy loved to fish, loons, wildlife, dogs, and music. She loved her time at Leech Lake in Minnesota. Amy was a very caring and kind-hearted person, ready with a smile and a hug, and always willing to help anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. “Go Penn State!”

Amy is survived by her husband, Jonathan of Marion; mother, Vickie (Larry) Holst of Vinton; sister, Julie (Bart) Waddell of Marion; two step-brothers, Lee (Marilyn) Burrows of Evansdale and Gary (Cheryl) Burrows of Centerville; mother-in-law, Margaret Dudik of Pennsylvania; father-in-law, Roger Dudik of Virginia; brother-in-law, Gene Dudik of Cedar Rapids; sister-in-law, Rachel (Chris) Dudik of Virginia; brothers-in-law, Eliot Dudik of Virginia; sister-in-law, Allison (Ray) Singson of Pennsylvania, brother-in-law, Blair (Michelle) Dudik of Washington D.C.; special niece, Stephanie (Lucas) Richards; special nephew, Michael (Becca) Ginther; special cousins, Dan (Lindsey) Ocheltree, and Tom (Laura) Ocheltree; special great-nephews, Aiden Richards and Landon Ginther; her beloved companion, Ella Mary; two god-children, Aimee and Tristan; her very special friends, Chad and Sandra Cleppe, Todd and Linda Ginther, and Judith and Anwar Yousef; her special Pilipino sisters; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved child in infancy, Kerry; father, Leonard; beloved lab, Nittany; and several other relatives.
