Amy Dawn Bailey, 29, a resident of the Penn Center in Delhi, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, February 18, 2008, at the center. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, Iowa.
Survivors include her daughter, Brianna Wiley; her parents, Rick & Denise Bailey of Cedar Rapids; her grandmother, Donna Paarman of Sigourney; 3 sisters, Mary, Rebecca, and Rachel; 8 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don Paarman and Ed & Kim Bailey; great-grandparents, Myong Kim, Georginia & Francis Haines, Lester & Kate Paarman, and Catherine & Mike Hammes.
Amy was born November 23, 1978, in Sigourney to Rick and Denise (Paarman) Bailey. Amy was a happy person and enjoyed working at the Can Shed in Manchester. Amy liked arts, crafts and knitting projects, watching the deer out her bedroom window, and being around family. Anyone who knew Amy, knew she was a joy to be around and that she will be missed by one and all.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Amy’s family for a fund being set up for her daughter.
