Amber Bricker

Amber Bricker, 40, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at her home. Family will greet friends and family from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Cornerstone Church located at 925 Blairs Ferry Road in Marion. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the church, conducted by Dr. Nathan Borrett. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Amber was born on April 1, 1982, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Steve and Sandi Bricker. She received Jesus as her Savior at nine years old. Amber was a 2000 graduate of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and went on to attend Emmaus Bible College. She worked as a consultant for Tata Consultancy Services in Cedar Rapids. Amber was a member of Cornerstone Church, where she enjoyed working with children in the nursery. She was an avid reader and had a love for cats. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Amber is survived and lovingly remembered by her parents, Steve (Sandi) Bricker of Cedar Rapids; aunt, Karen (Paul) Norton of Conway, Iowa; uncle, Dennis (Vicki) Petersen of Davenport, Iowa; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Amber’s memory may be directed to the Cornerstone Church.
