Allan Norman Scott, 71, of Leander, Texas, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the Christopher House Hospice Home in Austin, Texas. Graveside Service: 11:30 a.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Rona Flores; daughter, Brandi (Larry) Mallory; son, Brett Allan Scott; and granddaughters, Katelyn and Mackenzie Mallory; sister, Peg Timms; and two brothers, Harvey Timms, and Richard Timms.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Allan was born December 8, 1942, in Alexandria, Louisiana, the son of Chester Harvey and Lavon Louise (Potter) Timms. He enjoyed reading books, watching baseball, listening to music, and going out to dinner.
