Alice Moore
July 22, 1923 — September 13, 2005
Alice Moore, 82, of 726 8th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, died, Tuesday, September 13, 2005, in her home, following an extended illness. At her request, her body has been donated to science. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two sisters, Leona Clark of Cedar Rapids, and Dorothy St. John of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Moore; her sisters, Blanche Moore and Mabel "Pat" Tompkins; and her daughter, Sonia.
Alice was born July 22, 1923, the daughter of Clair and Eva Stockwell Witham, in Milroy, Minnesota. She had various jobs including home care. Many will remember Alice for her love of frogs and extensive frog collection.
