Alice L. Michel
February 16, 1952 — September 24, 2021
Alice L. Michel, age 69, of Bremerton, Washington, formerly of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Silverdale, Washington. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. A Celebration of Alice’s Life is being planned for Spring 2022. Murdoch Funeral and Cremation Service in Marion is assisting the family.
Alice was born February 16, 1952, in Shawano, Wisconsin, the daughter of L. LeRoy and Muriel Alice (Morgan) Michel. She was a graduate of Marion High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree at Upper Iowa University in Fayette.
Alice was an active member of the Eastern Star as well as a lover of travel and game shows. She took great pride in caring for her family and preserving its history.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Kathy Michel of Byron, Illinois; nephew, Evan (Stephanie) Michel of Lombard, Illinois; grandniece, Margaret Michel of Lombard, Illinois; and cousins, Mitzi and Bill Carroll of Seattle, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L. LeRoy and Muriel Michel; brother, Morgan Michel; and her beloved dogs, Yankee and George.
