Alan was born September 20, 1951, the son of Carl S. and Dorothy (Etzel) Odean. As a young man, Al began working with Dick Arp as a painter. They became partners and Al eventually took over the business. Al?s wife, Marcie began working with him in 1991. As "Al Odean Decorating?, they have had many beloved customers who have also been wonderful friends.
Al was a wonderful man who always spread cheer to his friends and family. He always looked on the upside when things weren?t so good, never letting on to the pain he was in - not wanting his family to worry or feel bad for him.
His daughters and grandchildren were everything to him and he tried to spread joy and humor to everyone he met. He was a most wonderful, loving father and husband and will be so greatly missed. We Love You, Al !! Life will never be the same without you!!
A memorial fund has been established in Al?s memory.
