Agnes H. Swanson
December 8, 1926 — March 18, 2006
Agnes H. Swanson, 79, of 200 Clive Drive S.W. Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital following a brief illness. A private service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen R. (Joe) Donovan of Cedar Rapids, Sandra K. (Jim) Fulton of Columbia Heights, MN, and Lori J. (Jim) Mura of Middletown, IA; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothie Pierce of Arlington, IL.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Elizabeth; her husband, Clarence; a daughter, Kristi; two sisters; and three brothers.
Agnes was born December 8, 1926, in Huron, South Dakota, to Archie and Elizabeth (Stewart) French. On March 24, 1947, she was united in marriage to Clarence Swanson. He died June 21, 1997. Agnes was a homemaker, an avid bowler, and pheasant hunter.
