Aaron Thomas Freiburg, 31, of 1285 Elmhurst Dr. NE, died Thursday, February 9, 2006, at home. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2006, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Rick Gail. The family will greet friends from 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Knapp of Cedar Rapids; his sister, Robin (Nate) Titler of Anamosa; his niece, Grace Titler; his father, Steve (Kathy) Freiburg of Cedar Rapids; two half-sisters; and his best friend, Bill Grindle of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Steve Glenn and his grandparents, Lucia and Robert Vesey and Don and Marge Freiburg.
Aaron was born October 16, 1974, the son of Steven Freiburg and Mary Ann Vesey. He graduated from Linn Mar High School in 1993. Aaron served with the U.S. Army for six years and two years with the U.S. Army Reserve. He worked for Handimart for several years.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Aaron?s memory.
