William James Driscoll, Jr., 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Celebration of William’s Life: 4-8 p.m. December 30, 2016, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette of Cedar Rapids; children, Kelly Driscoll of Robins, Iowa and Randall (Cheryl) Driscoll of Arizona; grandchildren, Nicole (Kyle) Rhodes, Jordan Cooper, Jordan Coate, Devin Driscoll, Zachary Havel and Liam Driscoll; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Terry Driscoll of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debbie Driscoll; and brother, Patrick Driscoll.
William was born on August 5, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of William J. Driscoll, Sr. and Lenora (Kelley) Driscoll. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. William married Paulette Patrick in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as an insurance agent. William sang in the Barber Shop Quartet and enjoyed listening to and performing music. He enjoyed gardening and photography. He especially loved his family and spending time with them. To know him was to love him. William’s wife, Paulette, will forever be his soul mate and best friend.
