Susan L Munson, 61, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. A gathering of remembrance will be held at Susan’s Daughter Holly Basset’s home at 4301 Midway Drive NW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52405 on Friday, January 5, 2017 starting at 4:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at Sammy’s Lounge on Saturday, January 6, 2017 starting at 1:00 p.m.
She is survived by her father, Carl Fields Jr.; brother Danny (Tina) Fields; sister Cathy (Al) Boyer; four daughters, Holly (Tim) Basset, Andrea (Derek) Munson, Sally Munson, and Autumn Skull; eight grandchildren, Shaun, Lila Kate, Elijah, and Jackson, Damien, Decrole, Nayia, and Lake; nephews, Chad, Michael, Eric and a niece Lacey; and her loving husband Skully.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Fields and her brother, Larry Fields.
Susan greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, Palisades Park, gardening, birds and especially playing guitar and listening to music. She had many friends and will be sadly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Susan’s memory.
