Steven D. Waddell, 63, of Anamosa, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at his home from complications of Diabetes. Per his wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Steve is survived by his mother, Doris Waddell of Anamosa; 2 daughters, Erin Chase of Cedar Rapids and Kristin Jacobs of Des Moines; sister, Linda (Jim) Hickey of Mount Vernon; brother, Rick (Brenda) Waddell of Cedar Rapids; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Waddell.
Steve was a cowboy poet, and an accomplished artist.
