Sandra L. Morgan

Sandy L. Morgan, 59, of 144 Belvedere Drive, N.W., died Friday morning, July 28, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Survivors include her husband, Max; three daughters, Angela (Gary) Baker of Belle Plaine, Annette (Jan) Manternach of Cedar Rapids, and Amy (Brent) Allee of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, Jeff Morgan of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren, Elisha (Craig) Sullivan, Logan Bringmann, Morgan and Amanda Manternach, McKenzie Phillips, and Carter, Logan, Chelsea, Zach and Hunter Allee; a great-granddaughter, Adrianna Sullivan; three brothers, James (Janet) Kepler of Cedar Rapids, Dave (Betty) Kepler of Mounds View, Minnesota, and Gary (Jolene) Kepler of Tama; and two sisters, Nancy (Larry) Adair of Palo and Pat (Steve) Fisher of Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Phyllis Parbs.
Born January 7, 1947, in rural Urbana, to Max and Lenora Kramer Kepler, she married Rex G. Phillips in 1966. She later married Max G. Morgan on October 5, 1991, in Covington. For the past eight years, she worked for Aegon in Cedar Rapids. Sandy was an avid Cubs fan and she loved her family dearly.
