Mark Auman, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died at his home after a long illness, Thursday, September 03, 2015. Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 1-4 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015. Burial: Shueyville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Christina Auman; daughter, Jessica Reilly; son, Jeremy Auman; parents, Robert and June Auman; siblings, David Auman, Beverly (Larry) Thole, and Karen Simmons; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Auman.
Mark was born on June 16, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Robert and June (Kauffman) Auman. He graduated from College Community High School in Cedar Rapids. Mark married Christina Reilly on August 9, 1986 in Cedar Rapids. He worked at Cryovac as a machine operator for 30 years. Mark enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets.
