Judy Ann Joyce

Judy Ann Joyce, 65, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 12, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital. In agreement with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the celebration. A private family committal service will take place at a later date.
Judy was born August 25, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, one of twelve children to Richard Lemuel and Marjorie Jane (Bell) Bean. She graduated from Washington High School in 1972. On June 18, 1972 in Cedar Rapids, Judy was united in marriage to Keith Wayne Joyce. She was very proud of and put her heart and soul into raising her family and maintaining a loving home for them. Judy enjoyed reading, playing BINGO, black Friday shopping, making tie-blankets, camping and time spent with family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Keith Joyce of Marion; four children, Carmen Provencher (Pat) and Kristi Joyce (Jamie), both of Cedar Rapids, Nick Joyce of Marion, and Travis Joyce (Jessica) of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren, Joseph Rankin, Taylor Hardman, Bryce Rankin, Vanessa Colony, Ty Rankin, Natalie Joyce, Ricky Joyce, Karsyn Joyce, and Kobee Joyce; one great-granddaughter, Paysleigh Ann Marie Colony; siblings, Jerry (Vicki) Bean, Larry Bean, Douglas Bean, Ronnie (Jean) Bean, Jimmy (Teri) Bean, Kathy Parrish, Gary Bean, Freddy Bean, Randy Bean, and Charles Bean; sister-in-law, Sally Bean; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Bean; brother-in-law, Gene Parrish; two sons-in-law, Rob Provencher and Mark Colony; one niece; and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that any memorials be directed to the Judy Joyce Memorial Fund at Metco Credit Union, 115 8th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.
