Gary Dean Miller, 58, of Crestview Acres, Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the care center, following a brief illness. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a brother, Donovan (Ikuko) Miller of Cedar Rapids; a nephew, David (Missy) Royer; a niece, Debbie (Cory) Cooper; three grand-nieces; and one grand-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patty Gerhow; a brother, Darwin Miller; and a half-brother, Ronald Myers.
Gary was born April 28, 1949, the son of Donovan and Elgia (Miskimen) Miller, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked for many security companies and the Department of Human Services. Gary enjoyed computers and music.
The family would like to thank St. Luke’s Hospice and Crestview Acres for the wonderful care given to Gary.
