Gail I. Perkins, 90, of 2030 1st Ave., Cedar Rapids, formerly of Springville, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a long illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Karen Downy Beals. Burial: Springville Cemetery.
Gail is survived by her cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Gail was born March 31, 1916, the daughter of Guy and Mary (Port) Perkins in rural Springville. She worked at Mercy Hospital in the dietary department, Howard Johnson, and was an executive housekeeper for the Roosevelt Hotel.
