Kelly J. Koch, age 49, died March 10, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kelly was born on November 16, 1959 in Alma, Michigan, the daughter of Joyce (nee: Peters) and the late Robert Brown. Having been raised in Sterling Heights, Kelly graduated from Warren High School Class of 1978.
After high school Kelly worked many jobs until she married. After she was married Kelly moved to Iowa and became a homemaker. Kelly enjoyed reading and working on her computer. Also Kelly was quite the game player, who enjoyed going to the casinos with her mother, playing bingo, and playing cards.
Kelly is the beloved wife of Sam Koch; Loving daughter of Joyce Brown; Dear sister of Becky (Rob) Rose; Devoted aunt of Aaron, and Alexis Rose. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Brown.
Visitation for Kelly will be Sunday 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Monday. A memorial service will be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at a later date.
